Chicago-based artist Tom Fedro creates unusual wall sculptures that combine abstract and pop art. At first, these bright portraits make the audience smile, and then there is an irresistible desire to decorate the walls of their own apartment with such cheerful works.
Tom Fedro's sculptures are made of MDF wood boards and aluminum wire and then painted with acrylics. Bright colors, large facial features and clear lines - these characteristics are invariably present in every work of the author.
Tom Fedro is not only involved in the creation of sculptures. In addition, he creates stunning paintings that are as vibrant and abstract as the sculptures. The subject of the author's works is varied: "Faces, dogs, cats, wine, cities, landscapes, flowers, nude …" You can see these works by Tom Fedro here.
Tom Fedro lives in Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA. Graduated from Valparaiso University and The Illinois Institute of Art. For many years, together with his wife, they have run a gallery in Chicago. Currently, the author's works are presented in many galleries in the USA and Europe. In addition, Tom takes part in special projects, creating works for the Broadway production of Rent, Toogood Wineries, Sweet Riot Candy Co., Amano Chocolates. The famous company IBM is also among Tom Fedro's customers.
