Those who do not suffer from such phobias, and calmly relate to sculptures in the form of characters from fantastic horror films, can admire a kind of collection of dolls from the artist Kamila Mlynarczyk … A Canadian artist with Slavic roots, Camilla Mlynarchik successfully combines two of her creative talents, sculpture and painting, independently inventing and developing images of future freaks, and then making them out of clay and painting with acrylics. Strictly speaking, the idea to create a collection of clay monsters was born from her own drawings. The artist wanted to revive her characters so that they were no longer two-dimensional and flat, and took up the clay. Camilla Mlynarchik has been training for a long time to make sculptures of strange dolls so "alive", but the result that she demonstrates today is truly magnificent. And even scary in places.
In the collection of dolls from horror films created by Kamilla Mlynarchik, you can see dead little girls, little boys with the faces of ancient elders, creepy zombie beasts and no less creepy zombie people. Monsters, mutants, freaks, as well as evil spirits, undead and other creatures from the other world are also abundantly represented in this strange collection of clay sculptures. And surprisingly, the artist does not dress up her dolls in rags and rags, as all creepy creatures should dress, but prefers to sew Victorian-style costumes for them or clothes that look more like Halloween outfits. Probably, in this form, they should not look as horrible as they could … However, some people consider the dolls of Camilla Mlynarchik quite cute, and willingly buy them for their home collections.
