Probably, it was made of the finest wire by some craftsmen in their free time from shoeing fleas" - if you thought so, then congratulations: you bought into a photo-drawing of funny Swedes from the studio Skrekkogle … Instead of making miniatures and filming them next to small coins, they made big coin and they remove ordinary objects next to her - and the result is the same!
Many people say that art cannot be done big money … But this is not so: to make really big money, you just need to arm yourself with a jigsaw, gold paint and golden hands. So did the young artists from Oslo Lars Marcus Vedeler and Theo Tveterås, who are working together on funny projects (we wrote about one of them, a monument to the computer game "Solitaire", recently).
Big coin 50 euro cents was created by Lars and Theo specifically in order to snap fake "miniatures": after all, people, looking at images of all sorts of small things, habitually think that the coin was given to them for scale. The Skrekkogle fabricators photographed a shopping cart, a car, a trash can and themselves next to a large 20-to-1 coin. And then they put up an unusual fifty kopecks for auction on their website.
Unfortunately, the price of a large coin can no longer be established: it was sold almost immediately. Only one thing is clear: the amount was definitely more than 50 euro cents! But Lars and Theo continue to take orders from those who also want a huge coin: if they accumulate enough, the process of "making big money" will no longer be a joke, but a literal one.
