Garbage and all kinds of industrial waste also have potential, the sculptor is firmly convinced Peter McFarlane … Moreover, he is sure not only in words: for many years in a row he has been transforming high-tech junk like motherboards into original paintings and installations from the series "Fossil Technique", and from metal waste creates strange concept sculptures … Peter McFarlane is an experienced scavenger. Almost all the decoration of the designer's apartment consists of recycled and recycled materials, but nevertheless, such an environment looks original and very stylish. The same stylish and original metal sculptures are obtained, consisting of fragments and scraps of bicycle chains, jigsaws and circular saws, elements of non-working machine tools and other household and industrial devices, as well as broken cars, gadgets and furniture.
In fact, by themselves, the metal parts already predetermine the sculpture that they can compose, united into one whole. The author only needs to organize this process, direct creative energy in the right direction, and distribute parts with a similar "character" to different categories. Naturally, there is nothing to do here without a rich imagination, but Peter McFarlane is a sin to complain about it.
In addition to sculptures from metal parts, the sculptor also makes other art works from wires and metal wire. You can see all these works of art on the Peter McFarlane website.
