Blinov played the role of Major Nikolai Yermolov, who honorably completed his combat mission and returned to his home when, it seemed, there was no longer any hope of salvation. Only his wife Liza retained faith in his return.
Participation in the film "Wait for Me" was a test for the actor. During filming, he contracted typhoid fever, and fought the disease to the last to finish the job he had begun. Blinov lived to see the premiere, but after a few days the illness took over, and the artist was gone. His work remained in memory of him.
2. Evgeny Samoilov
Evgeny Samoilov lived a long and creative life, in his portfolio there are dozens of roles in cinema and theater. The 1940s became the period of his formation as an actor, approval in his role. During the war period, with his participation, such films as "Hearts of Four" and "At six o'clock in the evening after the war" were released. The latter was removed in 1944, when it was still so long before the victory, but there was no doubt that the Soviet troops would liberate Europe and prevent the spread of fascism.

3. Nikolay Kryuchkov
Nikolay Kryuchkov in the 1940s, he starred in a number of films on a military theme ("Star", "Battle of Stalingrad", "Heavenly Slow Mover" and others). 5. Pavel Kadochnikov
