They may quarrel over different views on teaching methods of acting. And they are furious because of the disputes about the belonging of antique furniture to a certain historical era. It is surprising that Yuri and Olga Solomin for 60 years of marriage never found more serious reasons for disagreement.

Fateful delay

In 1953, Yuri Solomin became a student at the Shchepkinsky School. When the very first lesson had already begun, a late girl entered the audience. Surprisingly, the head of the course, Vera Pashennaya, did not even scold her, but simply offered to sit down. There was only one free seat, right on the edge, near Yuri Solomin. It turned out that Olga took not only a place in the lesson, but also a place in his heart for life.

Yuri was able to immediately discern in her such provincial simplicity, dear to his heart, and a chic braid to the floor, and a direct, open gaze. Olga and Yuri began to meet. In fact, since September 1, 1953, they have been walking hand in hand through life.

The dates were not varied: they walked a lot, talked about everything for a long time, getting great pleasure from communication. He could not even give flowers to his beloved, because there was simply no money for them. And upbringing did not give Yuri to cut off local flower beds.

In their fourth year, they decided that it was time to legalize their relationship. There was no money either for wedding dresses or for treating guests. Therefore, they simply arranged a holiday for two, ordering delicious meat with prunes and sweet and sour sauce in a small cafe. They had wedding rings on their hands much later, when both began to work in the theater.

Money can not buy happiness

After graduation, the spouses were assigned to different theaters. Yuri began to serve in Maly, and Olga in the Youth Theater. It seemed that her husband's work was more promising and more serious, but in fact Olga immediately became the performer of the main roles, and for her husband all the roles were very small.

They always knew what need was. The spouses did not have their own housing in the capital, they had to rent corners at a cheaper price, so that a modest acting salary was enough for at least something. Due to the lack of housing and registration, the spouses in 1960 were already ready to agree to move to Voronezh, where they were promised a service apartment. But the head of the Maly Theater promised that in three months they would have everything. They really soon had a place in the hostel. Two more people shared a room with them, and a theater screen fenced off the matrimonial bed from the neighbors.

Only two years later, the couple moved to a tiny but separate room on the Arbat. The conditions there were also far from luxurious, but the presence of a separate room was already pleasing. It was in this room that the Solomin family was replenished with one more person: their daughter Dasha was born.

And in 1966, the most real happiness was the receipt of a two-room apartment in Beskudnikovo. It was terribly far away, there was no metro, it took an hour and a half to get to the Belorussky railway station. Olga no longer worked during this period. And not because they had enough of everything, just a small child demanded constant attention.

Olga, with all her desire, could not combine work with the daily routine of an infant. But it was absolutely impossible for a young energetic woman to sit idly by, so she found a new hobby: she began to write small essays, which she gladly published in newspapers and magazines. Later, Olga Solomina began to teach acting at her native Shchepkinsky school.

Test of Glory

When in 1970 the five-part film "Adjutant of His Excellency" was released on the screens of a huge country, Yuri Solomin became famous. He was recognized even on the same bus that took him to his place of work every day. He modestly looked to the side, making an indifferent face.

But fame played a positive role in the next move of the Solomin family. It was visited by numerous journalists from the countries where the film was shown. In fact, there was nowhere to accept them. At first, they were given an apartment near the Dynamo metro station, then the Solomins moved to Petrovka, and later, when an apartment in a house in Spiridonyevsky lane was vacated, they settled in it. The couple still live in this house.

The actor did not want any other dividends from his fame and never used his sonorous name, forbidding family members to do so.

Loyalty

Yuri and Olga Solomin are a truly unique family. They always and in everything demonstrate amazing loyalty. Having entered the service at the Maly Theater in 1957, he never cheated on him, continues to work there even now, already in the role of director and artistic director. In 1961 he began teaching at his native Shchepkinsky school. Until now, he is happy to share his skills and knowledge with future actors.

She and Olga prefer simplicity and modesty in life, do not try to accumulate an unimaginable number of things, do not seek to demonstrate their own well-being.

Arguing to the point of hoarseness about teaching methods, about historical eras and styles, they still live in perfect harmony in the family and remain modest, intelligent people. Not a single scandal, not a single ugly story was associated with their family.

Only the granddaughter Alexandra, who was born in the early nineties, was allowed to speak proudly about belonging to the glory of the actor. When she was little, she said that her grandfather was a celebrity, but at the same time she was very surprised when they approached him for an autograph. Yuri and Olga love their granddaughter very much, are proud of her success.

Nature generously endowed the Solomin spouses with the ability to love and empathize. They generously share these feelings with the whole world. They both pick up unfortunate abandoned animals on the street and tirelessly care for them. Three dogs and four cats live in their house, who simply adore their saviors.

Yuri and Olga Solomin in 2017 celebrate the diamond anniversary of their family. All sixty years in their house there is an indescribable warm atmosphere, where good, love, mutual understanding reign. Happiness lives in this house.

Yuri and Olga Solomin are truly happy people. Yuri and Valentina Gagarins could also celebrate the 60th anniversary of their family, if not for the tragic incident in the sky.
