And she, most likely, is located in Holland, between The Hague and Amsterdam. It is there that an amazing place is located, which can rightfully be called the sea of flowers and the kingdom of tulips - a unique park Keukenhof, known as " the world's largest bulb garden". In the city of Lisse, where the amazing Keukenhof park is located, spring comes in mid-March, as soon as the first flowers begin to bloom, of which on 32 hectares of territory there are no more, no less, as much as 7 million. Basically, these are tulips, more than 100 varieties in the amount of 4.5 million bulbs, but there are also alleys of daffodils, hyacinths and other bulbs, painted in all colors of the rainbow. They are planted by hand, and then groomed and cherished from September until the first frost by 30 gardeners, and incredible flower arrangements are created by a whole army of florists and landscape designers.

The history of the tulip kingdom dates back to the middle of the 15th century, when this territory belonged to the Dutch Countess Jacob van Beyeren, who loved to tinker in the garden, growing flowers and various herbs on her huge plot. After her death, the garden miraculously survived, and in the 19th century, landscape designer Jan David Zocher created on its basis a wonderful park that surrounded the old castle of the countess, and in 1949, at the initiative of the mayor of the city, the park turned into a sea of flowers, mainly tulips, which are grown here. since the XVI century. Since then, the kingdom of tulips has been visited by more than 50 million people, and every year more and more crowds of tourists strive to get to this amazing place in order to meet real spring here among fragrant multi-colored alleys.

By the way, in addition to the alleys with tulips, daffodils and hyacinths, the total length of which is more than 15 km, in the Keukenhof park you can also visit exhibitions of other flowers, such as chrysanthemums, lilies, carnations and gerberas. Flower festivals and contests are also held here, and romantic-minded young men often make proposals to their ladies in this area, fragrant with flowers.
