Who among us in childhood, watching Disney cartoons, did not want to be among their popular heroes - in the thick of things! Artist Samuel from Spain does not seem to have lost this dream as an adult. And he brought it to life. A man draws characters from Disney cartoons, fitting them into modern everyday scenes. But the funny thing is that in these mini-stories he includes himself.

The combined photos with hand-drawn characters are incredibly fun. And the author takes a direct part in these photo stories. For example, in one picture he helps Alice in Wonderland with her schoolwork in class, in the other he flies with the Tinker Bell fairy, who playfully showers his head with her fairy dust. On the third, he is lying on the couch hugging Simba the lion. He also enjoys playing with famous Dalmatian puppies in his room.

The artist says that the inspiration for creating combined photographs came to him as a child - when he watched Disney films. And now, as an adult, he also gets ideas by watching cartoons with good old characters.

- I love Disney from the earliest years - their stories, their characters, their songs. These films were a part of my childhood, says Samuel. That is why I love making these works so much.

According to the young man, this work is not so difficult.

“When I understand what kind of photo I want to create, I just need to open Photoshop and start creating magic,” he explains.

Samuel shared that it takes him about an hour to draw a simple image, and up to five hours to create a more complex one.

- My father put Photoshop on his computer when I was still a teenager. He always edited photographs and I loved what he did. Therefore, one day I decided to do the same, - says the artist.

Although Samuel includes himself in a variety of stories and in the pictures he can be seen with almost all the characters, his most beloved Disney characters are The Little Mermaid and Ariel. With them, he is especially pleased to be in the same company in photographs.

The artist does not put any deep meaning into his work. According to him, the most important thing in such a project is simply to cheer people up.

- When I come up with these photos, I have fun. And other people have fun too! - he says, - Many Internet users love my photos. They say these lifelike pictures remind them of childhood. And many admit that, like me, they would like to meet Disney characters in real life, says Samuel.

By the way, in his real, non-Disney life, Samuel works as a primary school teacher. Perhaps that is why his photo stories are so kind, cozy and funny.
