Video: Do not talk! Original beer ad

What's on the mind of a sober is on the tongue of a drunk. This proverb, or rather its analogue, was adopted by the staff of the Madrid creative agency JWT when they developed the original advertisement for Corona beer. People who blurted out too much in a drunken conversation, the next morning appear in front of those with whom they drank, with a huge boulder over their shoulders. And, perhaps, nothing can be done to make this mountain fall off your shoulders. Every unfortunate drinker bears a stigma. The slogan of the beer campaign reads: “Drink carefully. Otherwise, you will regret that you blurted out yesterday."
The logic of the campaign is simple: the advertised beer is so tasty and easy to go that there is a high probability of sipping too much. And do something stupid drunk. So, the heroes of the original advertisement appear after yesterday in front of teammates, colleagues and beloved. And now there will be no descent for them.
My tongue is my enemy: loosened - you will not tie it. And why did you need to tell your teammates that you studied ballet as a child? And tell the boss that he is never a charismatic person? And to admit to the girl that, in fact, at first he "fell in love" with her sister ?!
Anything you say under the fly can be used against you, like an original beer ad. If you are afraid that someone will climb into your cozy little locker and take away your beloved skeleton, making it public domain and, so to speak, a visual teaching aid, drink in moderation. Or at least alone.

Rogvolodovich, not Rurikovich: Why Prince Yaroslav the Wise did not love the Slavs and did not spare his brothers
In the official historiography, Yaroslav the Wise for a long time appeared to be an almost sinless ruler, the creator of legality in the Russian lands. In our time, he is already accused of sending several of his brothers to the next world in order to occupy the Kiev throne. But was it only the desire for power that drove Prince Yaroslav? If you look at the history of his family, then everything that happens is more like revenge … to his father. Bloody revenge for bloody atrocity
She did not promote the Germans, did not ruin Russia, did not leave the course of Peter: what is Anna Ioannovna accused of in vain?
Anna Ioannovna, niece of Peter the Great, went down in history with a terrible image. For what they just did not reproach the second ruling queen of Russia: for tyranny and ignorance, craving for luxury, indifference to state affairs and for the fact that the dominance of the Germans was in power. Anna Ioannovna had a lot of bad character, but the myth about her as an unsuccessful ruler who gave Russia to be torn apart by foreigners is very far from the real historical picture
It is not clear what, and it is not clear where. Original painting by Fionn McCabe
Sometimes it seems that contemporary art is ready to recognize as an artist anyone who is able to depict on a canvas or a sheet of paper at least something that remotely resembles a drawing. And if this "something" is also made in an original manner and presented to the public in the same way, it can rightfully be called a masterpiece of modern painting
When the beer is not inside, but outside. Beer art by Karen Eland
Those who doubt the nobility of such a drink as beer should pay attention to the work of the American artist Karen Eland. You can really trust her taste: readers of Cultural Studies will probably remember the coffee paintings with which she debuted on our website, and today we will talk about paintings painted exclusively with alcohol. If tea and even wine are successfully used instead of dyes, why not take a chance and do the same with beer?
