Contemporary art, like never before, is close to people! Indeed, in order to admire them, it is not at all necessary to go to museums and art galleries. It now and then appears right on the streets, in the squares. Another example of this is laser installation "Immersive Surfaces" on one of the arches of the Manhattan Bridge!
A few months ago, we were moved by looking at photos and videos of an unusual video installation "8-bit invader", which its author, designer Pavel Novak, created on the facade of the University of Fine Arts in the Czech city of Zlin. But those were just flowers, an amateur craft, compared to the video installation "Immersive Surfaces", which appeared recently in New York.
The installation "Immersive Surfaces" is created on the arch and adjacent wall of Manhattan Bridge. It was created as part of the DUMBO art festival by a group of twenty artists and Senovva Inc. The purpose of this work is to show people the latest achievements in technology, visual art and the talent of the authors.
The video installation "Immersive Surfaces" consists of dozens of video images projected using lasers onto the vertical wall of the Manhattan Bridge and the arch underneath. These images alternate, replace each other, while creating a truly amazing impression on those who are watching this process.
Indeed, within the framework of the "Immersive Surfaces" installation, a wall and an arch, as well as their various parts, can move (at least, such a visual impression is created), flat surfaces can turn into three-dimensional ones and vice versa. A very realistic aquarium can appear right on the wall with people floating in it, not fish. Colors and textures may change. A real wall can turn into a virtual one. There are dozens or even hundreds of similar effects in Immersive Surfaces.
However, it is impossible to convey all this with words and even photographs! For those in New York, we just recommend that you go and see firsthand the video installation "Immersive Surfaces". For those who do not have such an opportunity, we offer a short video presenting this unusual work of visual art.

Chinese Crested Chinni changes profession
A dog is a friend of man. And for the photographer from Buenos Aires, Irina Werning, it is also an object of creativity. She with enviable regularity transforms the miniature Chinese Crested Chini into: an office worker, a surgeon, a housewife, a regular at nightclubs, a tourist, a pianist and even a chef. Moreover, the dog looks so organic in all the listed images that it seems as if she mastered these professions in a past life

It is much more attractive to overcome some obstacles in order to get the opportunity to depict the landscape of your hometown or another favorite view. This is how the art project with picturesque miniatures by Hasan Kale was born
