Apparently David Gilliver - a big fan of the film "Darling, I Shrunk Our Children", since all his works are focused on this topic. For 10 years now, the photographer has been creating unique collages in which tiny people use pasta as water pipes, a bowl of cereal as a milk lake, matches as benches, and so on.
Ordinary objects in skilled hands turn into unusual props. But, despite all the simplicity of the composition, David Gilliver usually spends about 90 minutes designing and implementing one collage. As for the idea of the project, the 34-year-old photographer explains it like this: “People tend to think of themselves as very important, although they are not. Bad habits enslave a person. And it's not just about alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. Many are addicted to adrenaline, delicious food, and luxuries. Although it is quite possible to do without all of the above."
Today at David Gilliver a bunch of fans all over the world. And the number of collages has long exceeded a hundred. The photographer is not going to stop there and promises that his imagination will be enough to create the same (if not more) number of works.
