Bats, little vampires and fearsome masters of the night, have never looked so cute and harmless as in Shawn Creeden's watercolor paintings. The artist depicts such adorable bats that one can even feel how much he is fascinated by these creatures, dedicating a whole series of his works to them.
Bats are such difficult, mysterious, a little scary nocturnal creatures. Their main distinguishing feature is the ability to use echolocation. They are able to see, focusing on sound, in complete darkness, going out at this time to hunt. Sean Creden recently presented an exhibition of his paintings entitled "Hollow Face, Hand Wing", which mainly showed drawings of bats.
Sean Creden was born in Newport, Rhode Island and currently lives and works in Portland. The artist creates beautiful drawings of animals, inspired by visits to zoos, natural history museums, travels to the forest. Creden draws many representatives of the animal world, especially marine life - whales, penguins, as well as birds and gulls.
The artist began his career by selling his drawings on the street, and now exhibitions of his artwork are held in New York and San Francisco.
