The Spaniard Paco Pomet paints interesting landscapes. Absolutely monochrome images begin to "sound" in a completely different way when Paco adds some non-standard element to them: a bright spot or a pillar of fire.
Litter sees art in its own way. Paco chooses ordinary photographs or landscapes as the basis for some of his works. The most interesting thing begins when the artist is visited by inspiration. The master's extraordinary sense of humor, in symbiosis with the undisputed talent of the draftsman, gives rise to the most curious pictures-photographs.
However, post-processing is not Paco's only hobby. He paints pictures himself. However, even here the artist remains true to himself: in every landscape there is a certain element that stands out from the general canvas - whether it be a bright color spot in a monochrome image, or an unexpected pillar of fire in the middle of an idyllic landscape on the river.
The work of rethinking a photograph or reproduction, introducing curious and unexpected elements into your works or into the works of other masters is an interesting trend in contemporary art. For example, within the framework of the Accident Series project, Zeren Badar, a young amateur photographer from the United States, selected reproductions of classic paintings and combined them with sweets, women's accessories, jewelry and other objects. The result is entertaining, richly textured collages that hint at the aesthetics of Dadaism.
Paco Pomet received his specialized education at the University of Granada, graduated from the Spanish Academy in Rome, as well as the School of Visual Arts in the USA. At the moment, the artist lives and works in Granada and exhibits a lot.
