How can you create drawings without picking up a pencil, pen, or brush, and without touching the canvas at all? How can you create drawings without drawing? The answer to this question is precisely known by the artist Tim Knowles, who creates masterpieces of fine art not with his own masterful hand.
British artist Tim Knowles is a brilliant mind and a genius who made trees paint. In his pictorial show, Tim acts as the director, who is responsible for creative and creative productions, where the performers are different types of trees.
Interested in the actual drawing process, Knowles devised an experimental and playful way to create drawings. The artist ties pencils, or markers, to the tips of the branches of various trees, placing a canvas in front of them, giving the wind a chance to create masterpieces and dictate compositions to the trees.
Tim Knowles' Tree Drawings project is truly amazing. This is an outdoor performance, surrounded by poetic nature, where the artist only prepares the conditions for painting, and the wind directs the “hand of the tree”.
100 handles are tied to the branches of a weeping willow. The tree draws on a round disc with a diameter of 5.1 meters.
50 pens hang from the branches of a weeping willow tree, creating a pattern on 4 panels placed horizontally under the tree.
