Video: How to bring back the popularity of knitting? Advertising

In recent decades, knitting and sewing have not been very popular among young people, the older generation and even the elderly. Although many grandmothers probably still knit or sew something, the benefit of technology makes it possible to create miniature and convenient sewing and knitting machines.
In this case, since handicraft is not a socially popular occupation these days, it is necessary to somehow draw attention to it. This can be done in different ways, but not all will work - here, as they say, how lucky you are. How can you return people to interest in needlework? The only way that comes to mind is advertising, and that was exactly what the designers from the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather took advantage of. Here we see an interesting option - in order to make the skeins of yarn more attractive and interesting for buyers, it is necessary either for the wool itself to change its design, which in principle is almost impossible, because modern wool is as ideal as possible, or simply change the labels.
And what is logical, the designers chose the latter and created new "wrappers" for the yarn of the Rellana Hair brand. The labels showed the faces of … men! After all, it is for them, loved ones, that we girls knit all our scarves, hats, socks and sweaters. Considering the fact that there are wool of natural colors, similar to hair, such as red, light brown, chestnut, it is not surprising that skeins of wool look so funny - they really look like men!

Why did the Tatar-Mongols take away Russian women and how it was possible to bring back the prisoners of the Golden Horde
As in any war, the victors get land, money and women. If this principle is valid to this day, then what can we say about the period of the Golden Horde, when the conquerors felt like full-fledged masters, and there were no international agreements and conventions that would control the observance of "military ethics". The Tatars-Mongols drove people away like cattle, they especially loved to take away Russian women and girls. However, even modern Russian women often suffer from echoes of the Tatar-mo

Buy My Face: the face of an advertising campaign or an advertising campaign on the face?
“Advertising is the engine of trade” - even a schoolchild knows this. But British students Ross Harper and Ed Moyes know that creative advertising is doubly effective! The guys are the authors of the Buy My Face concept, which literally means “Buy my face”. Resourceful "businessmen" decided to lease their faces to advertisers: company logos are applied with paint, which allows the guys to attract more and more new customers every day. They want to spend the money they receive to pay off their debts for their studies: as long as they are good

Advertising as an art form. Creative advertising overview
Honestly, I don't even remember what the advertisement was 15-20 years ago, but those who remember claim that it was something terrible, wretched and dull spectacle, in general, a complete waste of time for those who advertise this ordered, and for those who, by the will of fate, were forced to watch it in between their favorite programs or in the middle of an interesting film. Fortunately, the times of poor advertising have passed, and the time has come for creative advertising. Moreover, some experts sometimes attribute the production of advertisements
