Hollywood actor Brad Pitt was able to obtain joint custody of children from his ex-wife Angelina Jolie through the court.
According to Page Six, the court sided with Pitt in custody proceedings that lasted nearly five years. However, the decision is still preliminary, and Jolie may continue the litigation.
"Brad tried to spend more time with his children, and it was clear that Angie did everything possible to prevent this," - told the publication a source. According to him, during the trial, witnesses, experts, doctors and other people who were next to the heirs of celebrities were heard.
Jolie herself said that Judge John Oderkirk, who was leading the custody case, refused to testify to her children. And she believes the court "did not take due account" of a section of the California judicial code that states that giving custody to a person found to be involved in domestic violence is detrimental to the best interests of the child.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married in August 2014. And already in September 2016, the actress filed for divorce. They have six children in common, three of whom are adopted.
