Most recently, singer Alisa Vox has released her own solo album. Recall that until recently she was the vocalist of the well-known musical group "Leningrad". At the same time, it turned out a little later that in reality the new solo album of Vox is a collection of cover versions of the songs of the Ukrainian group "Scriabin". The singer herself told reporters about this, telling the publication Woman's Day.
Vox confirmed that all of the songs on her debut solo album were actually written by Scriabin. She also added that she always liked his work. The singer also complained that, unfortunately for herself, the idea of recording an album came to her after the death of the author. Alice negotiated the possibility of performing these works with his widow. After several meetings, they agreed that these songs would be a great start for her solo career.
A few days earlier, on April 14, Alisa Vox presented her first solo video for the song "Hold". This is the composition "Trimay by the Hand" from the repertoire of "Scriabin". It is also noteworthy that users of social networks for the most part reacted sarcastically to such a step by the performer.
Separately and once again, we recall that Alisa Vox is a former soloist of the St. Petersburg group "Leningrad". On March 24 of this year, she left this team after almost 3.5 years of work in it. Immediately after leaving, Vox announced the beginning of her solo career. She is slated to release her first album on June 30th.
It is also worth recalling that the Scriabin group was founded in 1989 by Andrey Kuzmenko. He is also known under the pseudonym Kuzma Scriabin. During its activity, the collective has released about one and a half dozen albums. In February 2015, Andrei Kuzmenko died in a car accident.

Plagiarism in the USSR: What famous songs turned out to be a cover, and what compositions of Soviet composers were stolen by Western singers
