Canadian photographer Christopher Moloney (Christopher Moloney) is a big fan of cinema. One of his projects, titled, is directly related to the world of photography and cinema: Christopher makes collages from film frames and modern photographs of the places where the shooting took place.
During his numerous travels, Christopher Moloney scrupulously searches for precisely those corners of cities and interiors where a particular scene was filmed. The photographer managed to find the entourage of famous films around the world: in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Rome, Napoli, and also in the city of Ho Chi Minh City. His pictures sometimes seem rather uncomplicated, but to create them you need to have a lot of patience and a good sense of perspective, because in the entire series, the frames of the films fit perfectly into the current view of cities without the slightest distortion of the details of the entourage.
Moloney's photographs from the series are presented in various galleries in the United States, and have also been exhibited at the Cannes Film Festival.
American photographer Seth Taras also combines documentary photographs with contemporary photographs taken from the same position. His project "Know where you stand" makes you look differently at ordinary tourist places.
