Since adolescence, he starred in "Yeralash", but real fame came to him after the release of the series "Daddy's Daughters", where Mikhail Kazakov played Ilya Polezhaikin, a friend of Galina Sergeevna. The boy from "Yeralash", accused of murder
In 2002-2004, Mikhail Kazakov was the most filmed young actor in the Yeralash newsreel. In life, he looked like a good-natured bumpkin who, with the received fee, could buy sweets to treat friends. "Yeralash" became an outlet for the boy, a kind of "fulcrum". In 2002, his entrepreneur father was found murdered with multiple stab wounds. And after his tragic death, the family had a hard time.
According to one of the Tver publications, the mother of the young actor Natalya Mikhailovna was persecuted for a long time, blackmailed, and took away the proceeds of their family business, which was engaged in the production of carbonated water under the Kazakov brand. Naturally, Mikhail and Stas, the actor's older brother, lived in incredible psychological stress.
And three years after the death of his father, 16-year-old Misha Kazakov was accused of killing a 20-year-old boy. Just a week before the tragedy, he himself was attacked, during which the robber tried, threatening with a knife, to take away Mikhail's money and mobile phone. The teenager was not taken aback and managed to take the knife away from the attacker. It was this knife that appeared later in the murder case of Kirill Gurkin.
A week after the robber attacked, a school friend of the actor asked Mikhail and Slava, another friend of hers, to talk to her former boyfriend. As a result of the "conversation", Kirill Gurkin attacked the girl with a club, Mikhail stood up for her and at some point snatched the same ill-fated knife from his pocket …
Kirill Gurkin died, and Mikhail Kazakov was awaiting trial and murder charges. Later, the charge was re-qualified for exceeding the limits of necessary self-defense, and then completely closed by the reconciliation of the parties. Mikhail Kazakov spent a year before the closure of the case in prison.
Dramatic changes
Filming in the series "Daddy's Daughters" made the actor popular, although, according to Mikhail Kazakov, at first he agreed to take part in the project with reluctance. But after the first episodes, unexpectedly even for himself, the actor got carried away. For filming in the series, the actor even had to gain extra weight. After Daddy's Daughters, he appeared in several more projects and played the cat Behemoth in the production of The Master and Margarita at the Moscow Stanislavsky Theater.
In 2011, the actor married his longtime acquaintance, whom he sympathized with in his youth. But after they parted ways, Elena managed to get married and give birth to a daughter, Mikhail Kazakov also had a serious relationship with another girl. In the marriage of Mikhail and Elena Kazakov, a son, Miroslav, was born, and they also raise Elena's daughter Vika, whom the actor himself considers his own. Despite the success in the cinema, Mikhail Kazakov was not going to devote his life to the acting profession. He graduated from the Moscow Academy of Finance and Law and planned to go into business. But for starters, the actor got rid of almost forty extra pounds.
When in 2018 the actor appeared on the air of one of the popular programs, the audience did not even recognize the same Ilya Polezhaikin in him. Slender, fit, fairly matured Mikhail Kazakov literally shocked the fans. At the same time, he assures that he did not adhere to any diets and did not exhaust himself with training in the gym. He just walked a lot, refusing to drive a car for a while, while he could walk up to 40 kilometers a day.
He also did special exercises for the press in order not only to lose weight, but also to gain a fit figure. It is worth noting that Mikhail Kazakov planned to take up his figure for a long time, but the role of Ilya Polezhaikin did not allow him to radically change his own appearance.
A snapshot that almost cost a life
After the closing of the series "Daddy's Daughters", the actor fulfilled his dream and went into business, opening a clothing store in his native Tver, where he now lives with his family. True, he sometimes accepts filming offers and does not refuse invitations to events as a host.
In early July 2020, the actor ended up in intensive care with a complex fracture of both legs. According to Mikhail Kazakov, he wanted to take a picture from a 12-meter height and, having stumbled, flew down. He landed right on his feet, and they took the brunt of the blow.
Of course, everything could have ended much more sadly, but caring passers-by quickly called an ambulance, and doctors in the hospital provided the actor with the necessary assistance. Doctors are sure: the actor survived by a miracle. He was discharged two months after the injury, but is still forced to move in a wheelchair.
Mikhail Kazakov is in severe pain, but he diligently fulfills all the recommendations of doctors in the hope of recovering as soon as possible. Rehabilitation is given to the actor with great difficulty, but he realizes that he must quickly get back on his feet for the sake of his family.
The comedy series "Daddy's Daughters" appeared on the screens in 2007 and for several years occupied the first positions in the ratings, becoming one of the most popular original Russian sitcoms and winning 4 TEFI TV awards.
