In the 1990s. dance hits Larisa Chernikova “Lonely wolf”, “Don't you laugh”, “Airplane in love” sounded, as they say, “from every iron”. Despite the simple texts and music, they were very popular among the people. And in the 2000s, the singer suddenly disappeared from the stage. As it turned out later, Chernikova married an American and went with him to the United States. However, there everything turned out not at all the way the singer dreamed.
Larisa has been singing since childhood - her mother was a pianist and instilled in her a love of music from a young age. Larisa graduated from the Institute of Culture, worked for some time in the Nadezhda Babkina Folk Song Ensemble, and then decided to build a solo career. Her first husband, businessman Andrei Chernikov, who rented a recording studio for her, helped her in this. In the mid-1990s. the singer released her debut album, a year later she recorded a second one, her songs "Give me a night" and "Don't you laugh" topped the first lines of the music charts. And in 1997 the leader of the charts was "Airplane in love" ("I love you, Dima").
In 1996, just three years after the wedding, a tragedy happened in Chernikova's life, after which she could not come to her senses for a long time - her husband was killed. As it turned out, he owed a large sum of money. According to the investigation, it was suicide - of course, the perpetrators were never found. The very next day after her husband's funeral, the singer had to perform in one of the clubs - the terms of the contract with producer Sergei Obukhov were rather tough. And when, after the death of her husband, he began to offer her to perform in dubious institutions, almost in baths, the singer terminated the contract with him and went to another producer. True, she had a hard time with Tolmatsky - there were a lot of performances, due to constant travel and flights, Chernikova undermined her health.
When the singer was about 30 years old, she met an American. At that time, Chernikova managed to finally become disillusioned with Russian men - she was deceived and betrayed more than once. One of her fans stole and crashed her car, another persuaded her to invest in a film that never appeared on the screens, and later she learned that an enterprising gentleman opened his own fitness club with this money. Therefore, American businessman James Fiore seemed to her like a prince from a fairy tale, although they had a significant age difference - he was 21 years older.
Six months after they met, they got married, and Larisa left with her husband, first to Thailand, where he had a business, and then to the United States. At first, this marriage seemed to Chernikova just a fairy tale: "". The couple had a son, Larisa took up his upbringing and home improvement - her husband had a luxurious mansion on the shore of the lake.
However, the tale did not last long - as it turned out, James had serious alcohol problems. For a long time, the singer put up with her husband's addiction, but after 7 years she decided to leave. This decision was not easy for her - in addition to mutual love and passion, the spouses were united by friendly relations. James lost his business due to drunkenness, he underwent treatment several times, but each time he broke down. Therefore, parting became inevitable.
Among the Americans, the singer never became her own - she says that their mentality is completely different: "". She tried to realize her creative abilities in American show business - however, as a composer, not a singer. Several of her songs were performed by one of the youth groups, but this business could not be called successful.
After a divorce from her husband, Chernikova tried to live in two countries - in the United States, Chernikova started a mini-farm, and her son was educated through the homeschooling system, which involves free attendance at school and independent learning online. He also wrote a book based on a computer game.
The singer comes to Moscow for concerts in a retro style, here she recorded a new album "Om Law" (mantras in Sanskrit), which she was inspired to create by a trip to India. A year ago, she even announced that she wanted to find a donor in Moscow for the birth of a child, but after a while she was disappointed in this venture - too many just wanted to earn extra money on this. Chernikova still lives in Texas, although she does not discard the thought of returning to Russia.
When Larisa Chernikova disappeared from the screens, they said that she had become a sectarian or sold to an Arab sheikh. Not less rumors were accompanied by another singer, incredibly popular in the 1990s: Linda, or The Story of the Unexpected Disappearance of the "Crow".
