Hollywood actor Tom Cruise, according to US media reports, is working with NASA's aerospace department and Elon Musk's SpaceX on a project to shoot the first feature film in space. The Deadline portal was the first to write about the collaboration between Cruise and SpaceX, clarifying that this is not about the next part of the Mission: Impossible franchise.
After that, the head of NASA, Jim Bridenstein, said on Twitter that the department was inspired by the idea of working with the actor on board the International Space Station.
"Popular media needs to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make NASA's ambitious plans a reality," writes Bridenstine. He did not mention Musk's company, but the businessman left a comment on the tweet of the head of NASA, writing that it "will be a lot of fun."
In an interview with Gazeta. Ru, cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Sergei Ryazansky called the project of the film in space interesting and suggested that the filming would not interfere with the work of the ISS. Kornienko, who spent a year on the ISS with American astronaut Scott Kelly in 2015-2016, noted that people who were in much worse physical shape than Tom Cruise flew to the station as tourists.
"Businessmen flew, a clown flew. Such people flew in my lifetime who could hardly walk on the ground. He [Cruz] is a trained guy, I don't see any problems here," the Russian cosmonaut said.
Tom Cruise, along with Jackie Chan, independently performs many stunts in films. He parachuted 106 times for one stage, climbed the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, held his breath under water for 6 minutes, learned to fly a helicopter, filmed on the fuselage of an Airbus A400, broke his leg while jumping from the window of a building onto the roof of another, jumping from cliff to cliff with one safety rope.

Few people know that even 400 years before the first man flew into space, a multistage rocket had already been invented. Scientists have discovered the mysteries
