Josephine, many years later, recalls with trepidation what delight and happiness she experienced when, as a child, she was presented with a large box of wax crayons. And at sixteen, the young artist had already sold her first painting.

The girl received her art education at Bournemouth College. Even during her studies, a talented student began to exhibit her work in local galleries. And her first paintings, exhibited at an exhibition in London in 1968, attracted the attention of the audience with a kind of plasticity and bright colors. Despite the fact that the main images of her paintings were only small butterflies and dragonflies, her works magnetically attracted the attention of the audience - the style of their writing was so unusual and original. After graduating from college, the gifted young artist worked in ceramics, sculpture, painting and design.
