Could destruction be as beautiful as creation? Can death be more beautiful than life? And is it generally appropriate to compare these two concepts in the context of beauty? The answer is known by the German photographer Martin Klimas, who blows up, smashes, destroys objects to show us how beautiful their death can be, captured in a photograph at a certain moment.
We once wrote about the phenomenon of high-speed photography by Martin Klimas, but that time the pictures captured the moment of death of clay figurines - artificial little people with painted faces. Today we will see how "living" beings die: graceful vases of flowers.
Martin Klimas calls his work "photography of the ideal moment". After all, in order to take the perfect photo, you need to capture the very moment when the whole is broken into parts, while remaining as whole as possible.
Martin Klimas is a well-known photographer, whose studio is located in Germany. Often exhibitions of his work are held at the Düsseldorf's Galerie Cosar and New York's Foley Gallery.
