Video: MK ART - real fantasies of the hidden world

The painting is called "Surrealistic Space". This is almost the first time that an author has used such a bright palette. The master of illusion and outrageous enthusiast Salvador Felipe Jacinto Dali inspired the artist to create his “museum”, namely a certain surreal space in which he is an observer and an eternal guardian, and we are spectators, watching from the invisible side. On the left wall hangs a painting by the master called "Atavistic Remains of Rain", on the right - "The Persistence of Memory". Going a little further, we will find other famous masterpieces …
As the name implies, the scene of the action is a certain Gothic cathedral (the stained glass windows and the wind rose in the middle testify precisely to this architectural style), the main characters are prototypes of the famous ancient Greek Venus of Milo. The sculptures have a different character, different facial expressions, but in general they are very similar to each other. A mirror image of the statue was conceived, but then the author decided not to reveal the true thoughts of Venus (about finding lost hands), but to write a somewhat excellent sculpture that has limbs. She is a secondary character in the picture, as if she appears from the invisible side, dragging Venus with her, promising another world she does not know. The expression on the face of the statue on the right is pacified, a slight smile can be seen, while Venus is tense and a little confused. Everyone can regard this picture as they wish … You can think about how Venus de Milo would look now, keep its original appearance, or, on the contrary, acquiring hands made by modern master sculptors, or you can just think about different human destinies.
This painting is a bizarre image, born once in a dream, and is part of the artist. This picture can be partly considered a self-portrait, and not only because this form is a reflection of the author's consciousness, but also because it has an external resemblance to him. But, naturally, this is a phantasmagoria, a whim, only the idea of the possible existence of a substance, its transformation and existence in a dense bodily shell. This subject will still change, going through many stages of life, reaching other horizons, until, in the end, he gains absolute experience. Only then will he receive a continuation …
The painting is painted in oil without using a brush and is called "Chimera". It depicts a gargoyle with the head of a dog or, if you prefer, a fictional creature. The technique is similar to grisaille, as the artist limited himself to a few shades of the same color, similar to sepia. It is quite acceptable here, since the statue is made of stone. Furious strokes make this character quite aggressive (as befits mythical bestial creatures standing on guard), frightening, but at the same time, the physiognomic expression of this chimera is quite calm, friendly-minded.
Why orange? It's hard to explain. Probably because the main color that accentuates attention is precisely orange. By its properties, this color symbolizes energy and courage. Here, with prolonged perception of orange, slight dizziness may appear. This picture was not intended as a kind of irritant, but nevertheless, the bright color is present along with the cooler "sleepy" blue-blue and pink-violet. In the center of the composition is an abstract face with a closed eye, divided in half. This is a double state, a combination of day and night, two elements, sleep and wakefulness, dreams and rational perception. In this painting, the artist combined his previously visited philosophical thoughts with graceful form and composition, trying to make the color peaceful and attractive. This is a dream that lasts more than one day, but its brightness changes depending on the everyday perception of the environment.
