Designers are quite often involved in fashion, clothing, accessories, they clearly love this branch of design. And it looks like they have an obsession - to portray a subway map on something. Once we have already seen this idea in execution - it was created a bracelet with a New York subway map. The next step is clothes.
This project belongs to a completely different designer, namely the Italian Massimo Vignelli. He thought the subway map would look great on the dress. It is interesting that New York was chosen again, and not the subway of some other city. The dress itself is made of silk and is made in light colors. The metro lines, in turn, are painted in the appropriate colors - red, yellow, green, blue, blue … In a word, the dress cannot be called pale for sure.
Of course, it is extremely difficult to determine the right direction using such cards as this and the one on the bracelet. Firstly, the destination station may well be on the back, which, to put it mildly, is not at all convenient. Secondly, some girl will simply find it extremely stupid to wear a dress with a subway map. After all, this may mean that she uses public transport, while everyone thinks that a young man is driving her in a Mercedes. Although all these disadvantages appear if you look for them on purpose. In fact, the idea is quite interesting and even practical in some cases. Still, we have never seen anything like it, which means that this is already an innovation.
