In the distant forgotten forests, where the sun's rays break through, there is a mysterious place that old-timers call the Magic Valley - a forest glade covered with emerald grass and strewn with flowers. In the center are old willow trees, whose crooked roots protrude from the ground, their tops basking in the rays of the golden sun, while the branches bow respectfully to the ground. Faeries live here - little magical creatures. Will we visit them?
Whispering Willow Fairies is a series of dolls created by German craftswoman Silke Janas-Schloesser for Charisma Brands. The series includes the most diverse characters that can only live in the world of magic: fairy babies, fairies of royal blood, garden fairies and, of course, fairies and elves.
Each of the dolls have their own personalities, stories and names. For example, little fairies are very fond of playing in the grass and hiding among the flowers. The royal faeries, as the name implies, rule the entire clan; they are the most beautiful creatures. Faeries living in gardens love to talk to people, but they do it through smell. Therefore, if you feel the scent of flowers, then know: these little magical creatures say "Hello!"
Silke has considered herself a professional artist since 1992. Her collection includes not only fairy dolls, but also many other magical and mystical creatures: funny little witches, gnomes, trolls. Among the dolls of the craftswoman there are even pirates - they are not scary at all! Silke Janas-Schlesser's works have been exhibited in museums not only in her native Germany, but also in the USA and Russia.
You can see the magical puppet world created by the artist on her website or blog.
