The film "Avatar" shows a planet, animals and plants on which have a very unusual color from the point of view of earthlings, among which blue dominates. And recently, in the cities of North America, they also began to appear blue trees … The "fault" is the work of the artist Konstantin Dimopoulos.
Knitted project Magda Sayeg "Explosion of yarn" at one time thundered all over the world. This girl and her followers, with their own hands, decorated the cities in which they live, making them brighter, more beautiful, unusual and colorful.
An art project of a similar visual concept is being carried out by the artist Konstantin Dimopoulos. However, he does not “dress” the trees in yarn, but paints them in blue.
Of course, he does this with the help of environmentally friendly water-based paint, which is washed off with the first rain or water from a hose, and is recycled in nature in a matter of days, without leaving behind any harmful substances.
The first such installation of blue trees was created by Konstantin Dimopoulos as part of the 2011 Vancouver Biennale. After that, the artist managed to decorate trees in front of government buildings in various American cities, including Seattle and Washington.
The Blue Trees project is about focusing on deforestation all over the earth. Due to this process, the planet loses its color, becoming gray, faceless.
Constantin Dimopoulos wants to show with his work how sacredly important trees are for our entire planet. Indeed, even its blue color of the sky is due precisely to the refraction of the sun's rays in the oxygen-filled atmosphere of the Earth.

Smart "suits" for cell towers. Fake trees in the New Trees art project
Since today telephone communication is available in all corners of the globe, it is logical to assume that cell towers of mobile operators should be located almost everywhere.
