Brian Skerry's photograph is something abstract, reminiscent of either islands in the ocean taken from a bird's eye view, or something very small, magnified many times under the lenses of a microscope. At least it seems so at first glance. In fact, it is nothing more than the eye of a southern whale.

In a bright, cheerful photo from Tibet, there is a little girl who, on an equal basis with adults, does household chores. So, in a huge bucket in comparison with her, she hardly drags water home from the river.

In the Australian spring, in September-November, Tasmania turns into one huge fragrant garden covered with colorful flower carpets. So, here, in Vinyard, the famous tulip festival takes place, and Cape Stolovy is famous for its magnificent tulip fields. One of these fields, which from a helicopter looks like a carpet skillfully woven from multi-colored ribbons, we see in the photograph of Anthony Crehan (Anthony Crehan).
