People paint in different ways and on a wide variety of surfaces. But to believe that any image is an expression of creative thought is not worth it. For example, the journalists of the popular American television program Inside Edition decided to secretly apply "hidden" logo designs on a variety of items in expensive hotels in order to check how thoroughly the surfaces and sheets are washed in the conditions of the still unconquered Covid-19 pandemic. And that's what came of it.

Of course, the pandemic has taught humanity how important cleanliness, hygiene and disinfection are to health and safety. And, needless to say, places like hotels should take Covid prevention and cleanliness seriously, given that their businesses and people's lives depend on it. However, not every hotel follows the rules. This was found out by the crew of the Inside Edition TV show.

TV crews checked into several hotel rooms in New York, and not just any, but high-class. They rented each of these rooms only for one day. With the help of a special washable spray, the "secret visitors" applied the logo of their TV show to sheets, pillows and bath towels, and also anointed TVs, furniture and other objects with this liquid. The trick is that such patterns are visible only under ultraviolet light. And, accordingly, only if the surface has not been washed.

Now comes the fun part. The next day, in each of the numbers, the members of the telegroup registered again - but under different names and surnames. What happened? Alas, they found some of the previously painted images on the surfaces! And it would not be so scary if such negligence of the staff happened in 2018 or 2019. But in 2020, during a large-scale pandemic (especially in New York), the results of such a check are not encouraging.

So, in the expensive hotel Hyatt Place Times Square, the logo was still visible on the sheets and pillowcase (which means that the linen was not changed before the arrival of the “new” visitors). The remote control was not disinfected either. But the desk was cleaned and the towel replaced.

The situation at the Hampton Inn Times Square Central was no less alarming, where the sheets and pillowcases were also not changed or wiped off the remote control and air conditioning after the tenants' congress.

When the TV people checked the Trump International Hotel (one of the hotels owned by President Trump), it turned out that it was not safe to settle in there either. In a posh hotel, which charges from $ 513 per night for a decent room, the pillowcase was not replaced either. The spray remained both on the countertop by the mirror and on the remote control. It is comforting that at least the sheets were fresh, without a logo.

Interestingly, after the release of the TV program, the management of the Hyatt and Hampton hotels expressed great concern about these "finds", but the administration of the Trump International hotel denied the Inside Edition's conclusions, calling them false.

The publication of the video program on YouTube attracted huge attention of users not only from the United States, but also from all over the world - about 900 thousand people have already watched it.
