Of course, the daughter of an Arab sheikh is different from the young African refugee, and she, in turn, is different from the representative of the American middle class of school age. But there is still a lot in common between them. These are the similarities and differences between the young girls all over the world and considers in his photo project "A Girl And Her Room" American photographer of Lebanese descent Rania Matar.
Rania Matar has seen as many women's bedrooms as, probably, no one else has seen. After all, she travels around the world especially for this. But she is not a sexual pervert or a pedophile. Young girls of different nationalities and citizenships do not hesitate to let her into their rooms. After all, Rania is carrying out a photo project called A Girl And Her Room.
Globalization leads to the fact that peoples and nationalities are rapidly mixing with each other. The world's population has become more mobile than ever. And it is already difficult to find at least one homogeneous (homogeneous) country other than North Korea, closed from the outside world. But the flip side of this process of mixing peoples and races is the growth of regional nationalisms and xenophobia. People begin to relate worse and worse to "strangers", to those who have a different skin color and a different culture.
But photo artist Rania Matar believes there are more similarities than differences between people. And she illustrates these beliefs with the help of art. For this she created a series of photographs "A Girl And Her Room".
The photographs of these show girls from 12 to 20 years old of different nationalities, citizenships, skin colors and social statuses. The girls are depicted against the background of their private chambers (it does not matter whether it is a room in a palace or a corner in a refugee hut).
And anyone who has seen these works from Rania Matar can notice that young girls are very similar to each other, if not in appearance, then in aspirations, dreams, passions and hobbies. Even ardent opposites are much closer to each other than it might seem at first glance.

What Hidden Drawings Told About Covid-19 in Expensive Rooms of Luxury Hotels
People paint in different ways and on a wide variety of surfaces. But to believe that any image is an expression of creative thought is not worth it.
