Of course, we all imagine a happy life differently. However, one glance at the photographs of Theo Gosselin is enough to understand: here you see exactly her. Each work is a piece of happiness, or at least joy, which all together add up to one free life, looking at which we can learn to value our own.
Despite the dominance of pessimistic sentiments among artists and photographers, there are still many among them who are ready to share with joy, and whose works, moreover, teach us something. Just like the Polish photographer Sasha Goldberger does, photographing his grandmother - a WWII veteran in a superman costume. He brought his grandmother out of depression, and punished other people not to forget their relatives. Or, as Nick Onken does, proving that life is beautiful with his sunny photos.
But Nick Onken is still a professional, and Theo Gosselin is apparently a self-taught amateur, one of thousands of photography aficionados who have taken up the camera themselves. This is the only way to explain the complete lack of information about him - he does not have a website, even on flickr, on which he has been registered for less than a year, there is no information.
Nevertheless, simple and ingenious photographs tell us everything about his life. He is always surrounded by people, and, apparently, he likes it. Moreover, people, for the most part, are unusual and creative, there are many musicians and artists. He loves parties, travel - as if he has been to London and Los Angeles, rooftops, and he also loves to capture such seemingly simple moments of our life, which, in fact, are the most bright momentsfrom which our happiness is forged.
Maybe thanks to the shy Theo Gosselin we will learn to appreciate every time of the years - he has a lot of wonderful summer and winter pictures. Maybe we will understand that there is nothing more beautiful than fooling around. Maybe we will remember what it is like to act spontaneously and at least be able to break away from the schedule and the planned plan. Maybe we will look at our life differently, just by looking at some of these works about free life.
His blog contains dozens of works representing life is like one big miracle … Theo chose excellent indie compositions as the background for viewing, we recommend that you do not turn off the sound when watching. In general, all these works seem to be imbued with the spirit of indie rock.
