Video: How did the fate of the participants in the first Russian reality show "Behind the Glass"
2024 Author: Richard Flannagan | [email protected]. Last modified: 2023-12-15 23:55
Almost 20 years ago, the whole country for the first time watched how six young people live under the vigilant sight of cameras. For 35 days, they were behind glass in the truest sense of the word: the walls of the rooms of the Rossiya Hotel were re-equipped for the needs of the new show and made absolutely transparent, forbidding boys and girls to go out and communicate with their families. What happened to the participants in that bold experiment, the winners of which were to receive the keys to a one-room apartment in the capital?
Margarita Semenyakina
Margot attracted the attention of the show organizers during the casting. She was defiant and quite impudent, and therefore it was immediately clear that it would be interesting to watch the girl's behavior. Margarita did not disappoint expectations. She built a relationship with another participant, Max Kasymov, and kept the audience's interest throughout the project. 20 years after the show ended, she is ashamed of her experience and even considers it bad for her reputation.
Soon after the end of filming, the girl married Max and became a mother. But his son Marat could not save this marriage, the young people broke up after six years. Margarita did not manage to build a career on television, she acted several times for "adult" magazines, and she could not do it at GITIS. Today she is happy in her second marriage, brings up two children, Marat and little Varvara, and is enthusiastically engaged in what she loves. Margarita became the head of the children's folklore studio, and she tries not to remember her “starry” past.
Max Kasymov
Margot's husband recalls participating in the reality show with undisguised regret and even disgust. After the project, his life was not easy. Attempts to create a successful musical group ended in failure. The Amatol did not last long, and after Max tried to provide for his family, working in a taxi and selling advertising. As a result, his life was quite successful, he first became a designer, and then opened his own studio Max Kasymov. Today, Max Kasymov can go into a rage only at the mention of his youth mistake - participation in a scandalous show.
Zhanna Agagisheva
A 19-year-old student of a prestigious university, a girl from a wealthy family, surrounded by many famous people, got into the project quite by accident. Zhanna and her friend came to the casting, believing that they would star in a youth series. Subsequently, the girl more than once regretted her participation in the show, although she became its winner with Dan. True, instead of the promised keys to the apartment, she, like Dan, got a trip to Finland and 15 thousand dollars.
Today Zhanna admits: participation in the project was not easy for her. Everything about the show was contrary to her inner values. However, she reached the end, and currently refers to those 35 days as a specific life experience. During the time that has passed since the end of reality, Zhanna managed to work on television, get married, have two children, get a divorce, get married again and become a mother with many children. The former participant of the show today has a happy family, five children and her own network of private kindergartens, the first of which she opened in 2009.
Denis Fedyanin
The second winner of the project during the filming could not decide in any way with which of the girls he should build a relationship. And even with Jeanne, with whom he shared the victory, the romance, in fact, did not work out. Together with another participant in the show, Olga Orlova, he wrote the book "Behind the Glass: Revelations of Olya and Dan", was going to become the author of another one, but after that he gave up trying to become a writer. What he is currently doing is unknown, since Dan refuses to contact the press, and minimal information about the hobbies of the former participant can only be found on social networks. They tell us that Denis loves to travel, but prefers not to talk about his professional activities.
Olga Orlova
Olga does not regret her participation in the "glazing" at all. On the contrary, she admits that the show has become a good school of life for her, and she has the most pleasant memories of it. She dropped out of the game first, but gained some experience. True, she never became a television star, as the girl once dreamed of. But the book, co-authored with Dan, brought good dividends, and a year after the end of filming, she herself found herself on the other side of the screen, briefly becoming the press attaché of the third season of “Behind the Glass”. She became interested in yoga, turned her hobby into a profession and created a yoga club in her native Rostov-on-Don, where she left.
Alexander Koltovoy
He came to the casting out of curiosity and left before the end of the show, although he was an outspoken favorite. His attempts to build a relationship with one of the participants led to a misunderstanding on the part of his beloved girl who remained outside the perimeter. With sound reflection, Alexander decided: love for him is still more precious than possible glory. He left the project, but was able to build a good career in television. He hosted the "Network" program on TV-6, later took the post of senior editor in the "Galileo" program on STS, then switched to the "Science 2, 0" channel, where he was the chief editor of the record show and the host of the sports technology program. and then became a presenter on NTV. Unfortunately, at the beginning of November 2020, Alexander passed away, he died as a result of the crash of the Piper Sport RA-1381G light aircraft, which he was flying.
Anatoly Patlan
This participant came to the show instead of Alexander Koltovy, but could not replace the audience's favorite. Anatoly Patlan was on the project for only two weeks and failed to build normal relations with the participants, upset by Alexander's departure. But after the end of filming, Anatoly became, as he once dreamed of, a circus artist. True, due to a knee injury, he was forced to leave his career, but thanks to the circus he ended up in Madrid, where as a result he stayed to live. Currently, Anatoly Patlan is happily married and tries not to mention his participation in the scandalous project.
It's no secret that television adapts to the tastes of the audience. But not all programs remain on the air for at least a couple of years: tastes change - relevance is lost. However, there are programs that have earned people's love - they have existed for many years and still do not lose their popularity. But what remains behind the scenes of such shows?

Where did the first Russian snipers come from, and why did the enemy drummers get the first bullet?
It is impossible to establish the exact time period for the appearance of snipers. The closest thing to the truth is the statement that the jaeger military units stood at the origins of the sniper craft. During the rule of linear tactics, these units were formed by the most well-aimed marksmen, who operated in loose combat. The first jaeger battalion in the army ranks appeared in Russia in 1764. And although the gamekeepers are considered the predecessors of modern snipers, there was a significant difference between them

Public property, or How the fate of the fives was mutilated by placing them "behind the glass"
Very often talk about humanity and philanthropy in fact turns out to be untrue. A clear example of this statement was the fate of fives born in the 30s of the 20th century.
