The child's irrepressible imagination and the dexterous, skillful hands of his mother can work wonders. So, a Canadian architect Wendy Tsao, mother of a fidget boy named Dani, opened an author's workshop for children's toys Child's Own Studio, which can give the kid a toy, invented and drawn by him. The ideological inspirer of the art project was his own son Wendy Cao, who loved his soft toys very much, but could not take them with him to school - his mother was afraid that he would lose them there or that older children would take them away. Then she decided with her own hands to sew toys for the baby that no one else would have. And the sketches for them she took from the children's drawings of her son. So the first strange creatures were born, invented by baby Dani and brought to life by the hands of his mother.
The idea was so successful that Wendy Cao became a popular master of children's toys, and her Child's Own Studio creates toys based on children's drawings of any complexity. Previously unemployed, today the craftswoman is known all over the world, and thanks to her, children can try themselves in the role of designers, coming up with their sketches for their favorite fairy-tale creatures. Exclusive toys cost $ 250 - $ 400.
By the way, some parents who have kept their own doodle drawings order soft copies of them from Wendy Cao so that these characters from childhood stay with them for a long time, and please children and even grandchildren. You can see a gallery of original soft toys based on children's drawings on the Child's Own Studio website.
