Since its first airing in 1996, the TV magazine "Kalambur" has become one of the most popular programs. Funny situations in which the heroes of humorous sketches fell, grotesque acting, changing the scene, all this the viewer was able to fully appreciate. In "Kalambura" only 5 actors were filmed, while all of them at one time graduated from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute. How did their fates develop after the closure of the TV show and what are they doing now?

Yuri Stytskovsky

The actor played a leading role in the TV magazine: he wrote scripts, put on sketches and acted in various roles himself. After the closure of "Kalambur" Yuri Stytskovsky did not finish his television career. In the early 2000s, he acted as a director and screenwriter in several humorous projects, acted in films himself, and tried himself as a producer.

His first marriage to Evelina Bledans broke up in 1993, not even two months later. It is noteworthy that before the official registration of marriage, Yuri Stytskovsky and Evelina Bledans lived together for 7 years. Two years after the divorce, the showman married a second time to the executive producer of "Kalambur" Irina Kozyreva, and in 2002 their son was born. Today, Yuri Stytskovsky lives and works in Odessa, but there is very little information about his creative activities in recent years.

Alexey Agopyan

In the TV magazine, Alexei Agopyan skillfully transformed from a bear into a bartender or co-pilot, hilariously portrayed a Georgian and an asocial face. After the closure of "Pun" for a long time he continued to act in comedy series and programs, but he always dreamed of a big dramatic role that would allow him to take off his clown mask.

He stubbornly went to his goal and, in the end, the directors drew attention to the dramatic talent of Alexei. In the filmography of the actor, there appeared not at all the comedic roles of a notary in "The Personal Life of Investigator Savelyev" or a villain in the children's film "Magic Stories: Elixir of Kindness". The most significant work for the actor was the role of Kukush Octave in the TV series "Mysterious Passion". The prototype of his hero was the easily recognizable Bulat Okudzhava.

Alexey Agopyan lives in Odessa, acts in films and TV series.

The fates of these two actors cannot be separated from each other. Vadim Nabokov and Tatyana Ivanova met at the "Masks" TO, where both worked then. Vadim came to Odessa from Kramatorsk, and when he was urgently asked to vacate the rented apartment, Tatiana offered him her help. True, feelings between them arose a little later, when the actors went on tour to Kamchatka. In two weeks they began a romantic relationship and returned to Odessa, they were no longer just neighbors, but in fact a young family. True, the wedding took place only five years later. In 1998, during a break between filming, their first-born Ilya was born, and in 2007 their family became even larger: their daughter Maria was born.

After the closure of "Pun" the actors continued to give concerts, toured a lot. The couple live in Odessa, Vadim is still a member of the comic group "Masks". Tatyana Ivanova and Vadim Nabokov continue to act in films, and the range of their roles is not limited only by comedic images. They are together almost all the time and never bother each other. Even when Vadim goes to billiards competitions, the whole family goes to cheer for him.

Sergey Gladkov

While studying at the Polytechnic, Sergei Gladkov became interested in clowning, graduated from directing and pantomime courses, and began directing almost all student performances. It is not surprising that after graduating from the institute, Sergei was hired by the Odessa Philharmonic.

After the closure of the television magazine, Sergei did not want to continue his career as an actor, devoting himself to writing scripts and sound engineering. He gladly took part in the same projects as his colleagues in "Kalambur", but behind the scenes, as a sound engineer.

Thanks to Sergei Gladkov, the animated series "S. O. S." was created, in which the heroes of "The Pun" continued their adventures. Gladkov himself was the producer, screenwriter and sound engineer of the 60-episode cartoon.

The most popular and affordable source of entertainment in the 1990s was television. However, even here everything did not turn out according to the scenario familiar to Soviet citizens. The strict announcers in closed suits were replaced by young presenters who were not afraid to ask uncomfortable questions or appear in the frame in a sweater and jeans. New names were heard: Vlad Listyev, Urmas Ott, Sergey Suponev and many others. What did they have to pay for their success?
