Photo series "Shakes" by Carli Davidson almost entirely devoted to shaking off dogs. In her works, this prosaic situation appears in a completely unexpected light: the French bulldog, Labrador, border collie and other friends of man look as if they have stepped off the paintings of the avant-garde artists.
All photographs are taken using a high-speed shooting method, allowing you to capture moments that elude human attention. Thanks to this method, everyday processes can become a fantastic and exciting sight.
The fascination of this series of images cannot be explained by the use of modern technology alone. To make your photos look so lively and emotional Carly Davidson draws on all his rich experience as an animal shelter caretaker and trainer. The combination of love and upbringing is the secret of her successful work with our four-legged friends.
She began her photography career in Portland, where she worked as a volunteer reporter for local animal rescue campaigns. Since Carly I had a chance to shoot a wide variety of animals in their natural habitat, from snakes and birds of prey to elephants, lions and bears.
Despite worldwide success and numerous awards in photography, Carly Davidson did not leave the care of our smaller brothers. Continuing to work with animals, she creates an amazing series of images that cause a wide public response.
Apparently, shaking off dogs became a source of inspiration not only for Carly … Her passionate love for our shaggy friends is shared by her compatriot Iriss Scott.
