And again National Geografic invites us on a photo trip to the most picturesque corners of the planet. Pictured by Randall Scholten, a quirky yet cozy and picturesque seafood restaurant in Port Orford, Oregon. Decorated for the holidays, and shining with many lights in the predawn fog, this restaurant serves as a kind of cultural center of a small fishing town.

One of the most touching and saddest photographs. Pictured Amy Helene Johansson is a woman from Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. Having settled down between the carriages, and having attached her luggage under the neighboring carriage, she leaves for her hometown to celebrate Ramadan with her family, relatives and friends. This is the time of the three-day holiday of Eid al-Fitr, which ends the great Muslim fast, and tens of thousands of people knock on the thresholds of railway stations to take a train ticket and leave for their homeland. But since there are not enough tickets for everyone, and the trains are packed to the eyeballs, many settle in this way, or climb onto the roofs of carriages.

One of the most original photographs of today's sample is the Harbor Bridge. Sydney's largest bridge, one of its main attractions, and one of the largest steel arched bridges in the world, photographed by Chris Button during a storm and severe sandstorm.

The little owl ((Athene noctua), or the little owl that lives in Spain, sees perfectly well during the day, but prefers to hunt at night, since it belongs to those types of owls that people, in particular, in Italy and Spain, like to tame, clip wings and keep as a “domestic hunter.” For example, you can often see the little owl walking around the yard and exterminating snails and small rodents.
