The installations, which are made by the American Leisa Rich, by and large do not require any special professional skills, serious preparation or expensive materials. But we can only admire these works in art galleries: we simply do not have enough time to enjoy the simplest things in everyday life. And this, according to Leiza Rich, is the biggest problem of modern society, with which the author is trying to fight with his work.
The feverish rhythm of modern life, the introduction of high-speed technologies into all spheres of activity and the simply inhuman pace in which people are forced to work and live, deprives us of the opportunity to notice nature, each other and small moments of life - all this is considered insignificant. "A person simply has no time to come into contact with the real world, while he has hundreds of emails in his inbox, demanding a response!" - Leisa Rich is indignant. According to her, the latest technologies do not unite people, but, on the contrary, destroy the ties of man with nature and with other people.
Leisa says that being disappointed in this state of affairs, she actively began to look for a way out of this situation. Creativity has become such a way out. According to the author, she tries to notice things that are usually simply ignored - a pebble that bounced off a leg during a walk, a piece of broken glass, a small shell - and turn them into something unusual to emphasize their importance and significance. In her work, Leisa uses various materials, but she works best with fabrics. “I create installations that are designed not to realistically display the organic structures of the natural world, but only to approach them; using the power of scale - from miniatures to gigantic works - I strive to depict the essence that I see in each object."

Knives, accidents and blood sewn from fabric
The theme of Craig Fisher's sculptural installations is quite destructive and terrifying: car accidents, cold and firearms, pools of blood … It doesn't sound very attractive, but in fact there is nothing to be afraid of, because all these works - including blood - are sewn from fabrics
