Sheila Kernan - hereditary artist. According to her, those who grew up in a family where grandmother is a seamstress and artist, father is a talented woodcarver, and uncle is a photographer, it is written to devote himself to art, which the girl did at the age of three. Sheila recalls that even in kindergarten, the teacher told her mother that the girl did not pay attention to others, because she was absorbed in creating an applique, then modeling, then drawing … As an adult, Sheila found herself in painting, and since then her amazing paintings, written in a peculiar manner and using the mixed media technique, many countries have seen on both sides of the ocean.
Usually the artist paints with acrylics and oils, but sometimes she adds some touches with watercolors, or even refuses to use any paint other than watercolors altogether. Or acrylic. Or oil. This helps her find the way that can best convey to the viewer the mood that should be reflected in the work. It's no secret that artists, and all creative people to one, live outside, and paintings are, as it were, a reflection of their life and perception of the world. A kind of window to the soul.
Sheila's works are easily recognizable by their style: a riot of colors and an excellent positive, as well as points - many, many points from which the paintings are composed. Although sometimes the dots serve only as an addition, a kind of decor, well, or an author's mark. In general, the artist cannot be denied originality, and her talent too.
