The motto of many modern girls is "The less the better", and we are talking about the number of kilograms per square centimeter of the body. Having seen enough skinny models proudly pacing on thin legs, girls go on diets or swallow pills in the hope of reaching their ideal (from their point of view) weight. But the pursuit of the ideal often leads to the desire not only to catch up, but also to overtake, and as a result - to anorexia. Beauty or painful thinness? The art project is dedicated to this problem " 32 kilo"from a German author Ivonne Thein … A few years ago, the fashion for skinny models receded into the shadows, giving way to fashion for slender models of a regular physique. But lately, thin, almost disembodied "nymphs", whose weight tends to zero, are beginning to come to the fore again. Experts see the reason for the fact that the Internet movement "Pro-Ana", which gives a positive status to thinness and in every possible way stimulates women to lose weight more and more actively in an attempt to find the body of their dreams, has been active in the United States and a number of European countries.
"Thirty-two kilograms" is an art project that demonstrates the results of this pathological aspiration, which is characteristic not only of young women, but also of men. The Internet has become a virtual home for diverse communities that do not define themselves as self-help and self-help groups for people with eating disorders. On the contrary, they support their desire to lose weight, and publish photos of thin, almost emaciated models as visual support. Similar to those shown in the photographs of Yvonne Thain.
Yvonne Thane herself does not photograph anorexic. She takes pictures of models of normal physique, without problems with eating behavior, and then achieves the desired result in Photoshop. The artist edits photographs as if the people depicted in them really weigh 32 kg. Hence the name of the project. The author hopes that these pictures will once again make one ask the question: is it beauty, or is it still a disease, anorexia?

Edible - inedible: talented photo manipulations by Alexander Dubosk
What is a birthday? Cake with candles and the expectation that "now the bird will fly out"? Creative photo manipulations by Alexander Dubosk suggest combining these associations into a capacious image of a celebration - a cake in the form of a lens (however, it is not known whether that very bird will be comfortable in it). Another collage explains why it is so important to blow out the candles quickly (the cake is made of matches - flammable!). Photo manipulations by Alexander Dubosk make you remember the times when you had to balance on the border
