Making your own street signs has been a long-standing pastime for many artists around the world. So the art group TrustoCorp has made a mark in this field. She hung several of her signs on the streets of Brooklyn, New York, warning people that they are in the most violent neighborhood of this cruel city.
These signs are provided for all occasions. They are meant to tell people the truth about this world. For example, one of these signs depicts death with a scythe, and the caption to this image reads: "Life is so short." Mickey Mouse is looking at the children from another sign. "Play with yourself," this drawn mouse declares to them. "You're not so cool!" - another street sign from TrustoCorp informs adults.
Placed on one of Brooklyn's semi-abandoned streets, the signs match their surroundings. "Real men use their fists" - it says on the sign with the crossed out revolver. "Carefully! God thinks you are stupid. Ignoring God is not American "- a passer-by learns about this, looking at another sign.
“Vandalism 24 hours a day, 7 days a week” - Life in Brooklyn has never been easy. “Don't knock! Collaboration is not American style,”says a sign with a rat pierced by a knife.
There are about a dozen such signs installed by the guys from TrustoCorp on the streets of Brooklyn. Everyone carries a piece of wisdom that helps to survive in a big city. And they are just as important as traffic signs.

Why is the painting "Annunciation" by the monk Fra Angelico considered mystical, and what secret signs are encrypted on it?
Art is always fascinating. It invites you to go beyond your usual being and beckons with its secrets. The famous 15th century fresco by the Dominican monk Fra Giovanni da Fiesole, nicknamed the "Angelic Monk", still adorns the walls of the San Marco Monastery in Florence today. She depicts the scene when the Virgin Mary learned from the archangel Gabriel that she was to become the mother of the Messiah. The canvas attracts the eyes to the symbol that is often repeated on it. What exactly did thin mean to tell
Depressive digital surrealism by Patrick Tang
Oddly enough, but from art in general and painting in particular, many for some reason expect benefits not only aesthetic, but also practical. If desired, all this can be found in the works of artists specializing in the so-called dark art. The fact is that their paintings, firstly, benefit the author himself, giving him the opportunity to release emotions that are languishing inside, and secondly, surreal canvases allow those who contemplate and evaluate them to express themselves, looking for hidden meaning and, not
"Vacuum" - depressive paintings by Melissa Cook
There is a lot of depression and melancholy, and I would like to see some glimmers of optimism in works of art and believe that everything is not as bad as it seems. But something the authors refuse to please us lately: in the company of the already known to us sad sculptures by Derek Weisberg, no less depressing paintings by Melissa Cooke were added
