With the development of mobile communications, millions of unnecessary old corded phones with rotating dials are left in the world. What to do with these already forgotten devices? Construct works of art from them! This is exactly what French artist Jean Luc Cornec thinks.
The artist Jean-Luc Kornec has found a worthy use for outdated landline telephones, an uncountable number of which are stored in the most remote corners of our homes and apartments. He makes works of art out of them.
A striking example of this is the sculptural composition Rotary Phone Sheeps in the Museum of Communications in Frankfurt. She is a multitude of black, white and gray sheep. These sheep are made from old phones with turntables.
Their bodies themselves are constructed of twisted wires strung on a metal frame. The legs of these unusual sheep are made of telephone receivers, and the heads are made of the telephone sets themselves.
Whole herds of such telephone sheep graze in the courtyard and in the pavilions of the museum. It is difficult to say anything definite about the message of this sculptural composition. But the fact remains - even from old, seemingly unnecessary phones, you can create artistic value.

Man and phone. Oil paintings similar to photographs by artist Dan Witz
It is believed that man's best friend is a dog. However, the American realist artist Dan Witz is sure that man's best friend is still his mobile phone. Wherever we go, whatever we do, with whom and whenever we communicate, the mobile phone is always with us - at hand, or even in our hand. And Dan Witz is a realist not only because he realizes that we have become addicted to certain gadgets - he also paints realistic pictures on hot topics. V

The xylophone is one of the most ancient musical instruments, and although now the sonorous voice of this "percussion piano" is in demand only in orchestras, the xylophone has not been forgotten, and its work is alive and well. Another proof of this is an interesting advertisement for phones, which features perhaps the largest wooden xylophone in the world
Sheep from telephone wires. Sculptures by Jean Luc Cornec
It seems that in the herd of creative lambs, created by the hands of master sculptors, there is a replenishment. More recently, we talked about sculptural lambs from Colin's Creatures made of ceramics, and now new curly-haired artiodactyls have appeared on the "pasture". But this time they are made of telephone wires, and the main "shepherd" is Jean-Luc Cornec
