Japanese artist Katsuhiro Tsuji learned how to create hyper-realistic sculptures during his work in the film industry. His last work is truly amazing: the bust of Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican artist, looks so realistic that he cannot but admire.
Frida Kahlo often portrayed herself in her paintings, trying to convey her emotions, her pain through these portraits. Katsuhiro Tsuji (Kazuhiro Tsuji) decided to bring these images to life by creating a bust of the artist, inspired not only by photographs of the Mexican woman, but also by her canvases.
The sculpture was made from a special mixture of rubber and silicone, as well as other materials that helped create such a realistic image: Frida Kahlo looks around the gallery visitors as if in thought, being lifted into the air with huge golden palms.
Katsuhiro Tsuji began painting and creating sculptures as a child, feeling a special attachment to art. He experimented with many different ways of expressing himself, and in the process he realized that what he likes most is portraying people in one way or another. Katsuhiro has been successfully working in the field of special effects in the film industry for a long time, but after that he completely switched to what brings him real pleasure - creating portraits.
Frida Kahlo was a bright personality who, even now, causes a lot of attention and curiosity among the audience. Her paintings were full of emotions, and even her photos express this incredible love for life that the Mexican artist was filled with.
