The crisis is still sweeping across the planet. And not every able-bodied person has a job. This state, the state of unemployment and the hopelessness associated with it, is the subject of a series of works from the Nizhny Novgorod artist Yevgeny Solovyov.
Almost each of us experienced the feelings that the artist Evgeny Soloviev shows in a series of his works entitled No Vacancy. This is a feeling of hopelessness, deep depression, loneliness, abandonment, uncertainty about the future.
And these feelings are caused by the state when you are fired and cannot find a job for a long time. Especially a lot of people are in such a state these days, when the global financial crisis has not yet receded.
The people depicted in the paintings of Yevgeny Solovyov are in a borderline state. This state is associated with despair, fear and suicidal thoughts. God forbid any of us to be in such a position!
An excellent illustration of how a crisis affects the human personality.
