3. Violet Constance Jessop (shipwreck)

5. Ann Hodges (meteorite)
Ann Hodges became the only surviving person to be hit by a meteorite. On November 30, 1954, a fragment of a cosmic body pierced the roof of Anne's house, ricocheted against the radio, and struck a woman dozing on the couch in the thigh. The meteorite left a huge burn on Ann's body.
