Every day, in the hustle and bustle of city life, we encounter strangers. At work, on public transport, in a store or at a concert - wherever we are, people around us constantly encroach on our comfort zone. The theme of human relationships in megacities formed the basis the project "Bodies in Urban Spaces" from the Austrian by Cie Willi Dorner … He organizes original performances, during which on the streets of European cities appear sculptures of people.
The Bodies in Urban Spaces project was launched in 2007, and since then the living sculptures have been seen by residents of France, Austria, Portugal, Great Britain, Germany, Spain and America. A group of dancers participating in these mini-performances selects several crowded places on the city map and puts on a bright performance there. For a short time, the guys freeze in bizarre poses, take pictures, and then go to the next object. As a rule, the participants in the action have to work hard to make the sculptures look impressive: some stand on their heads, others in a plank, and others even hang on top of each other.
In such an original way, Cie Willi Dorner calls on people passing by to think about how they behave with others, whether they are intruding into someone else's life, whether they are embarrassing those who are with them. The organizer of the project admits that sculptures made of people often irritate the townspeople, but the artist does not lose hope that people will not only be indignant, but also think about their own behavior and habits.

Eastern European Sushi: Sushi with an Eastern European twist. Art project of the studio Clinic 212
The crazy popularity of such Asian fast food as sushi, rolls and other maki has gradually led to the fact that restaurants (such as) Japanese cuisine are opened in almost every village, not to mention megacities or cultural and historical centers. Moreover, those dishes that are called real Japanese cuisine on the menu are in fact an imitation, a parody of what the Japanese call "rolls". However, our traditional dishes have certainly undergone no less changes in Asian restaurants

People and animals, or people-animals. Shocking sculptures by Kate Clark
Healthy as a bull, fat as a hippopotamus, stupid as a ram, dirty as a pig, stubborn as a donkey … as well as possible confirm the fact that we have not gone so far from the animals. At least in habits and behavior. And sometimes in a way of life, it is not for nothing that one who works at night is called an owl, and an early bird a lark … In sculptural installations am
People, people and again people. Drawings by John Beinart
If you only have a couple of moments to get to know Jon Beinart, then, glancing over his paintings, you will see black and white portraits or several human figures. But the drawings of this author are nevertheless recommended to be considered more thoughtfully and more carefully: and then you will see that in each image there are tens and hundreds of people, who can be peered at for hours
Sur come to life: graffiti on the streets of Polish cities
Surrealistic stories, people, animals, wonderful creatures, obviously coming from a parallel universe, come to life in the works of the Polish artist Przemiek Blaizyk. Its unusual, but in any case, original graffiti from the very first minutes attract attention, forcing to stop, and then look back and freeze, admiringly examining the painted walls of residential buildings
