For many of us, childhood memories, among other things, are associated with books that we took in our hands to look at beautiful and vivid pictures. But few people thought about who draws all this miracle. But the artists who create illustrations for fairy tales, quite a few, and Marina Marcolin is one of the most talented. Her delicate watercolors give adults the opportunity for a second to look into the wonderful world of their dreams.
Marina Marcolin was born in 1975 in the Italian town of Vicenza, graduated from the University of Graphic Arts. Today the artist collaborates with many large publishing houses, creates gentle illustrations for fairy tales, teaches watercolor technique and book design in his hometown. Books with her pictures are published in many countries of the world and are very popular.
Marina's illustrations have been exhibited more than once in Italy and other countries of the world. In 2006, the Greek Ministry of Culture awarded her the prestigious prize "Best Foreign Artist of the Year".
