What girl in childhood did not dream of being a princess: wearing chic outfits, dancing at balls, expecting a fairy-tale prince and, of course, being the embodiment of all virtues. Most of us imagine fairy-tale heroines just like that, however, the artist who chose a pseudonym for himself Herr Nilsson, does not want to succumb to feigned charm and draws Disney princesses by no means friendly.
Images of fairy princesses have recently begun to appear on the streets of Stockholm. Everything seems to be as it should be: a pretty smile, an airy dress, only here in the hand is a weapon instead of a bouquet of flowers. Disney heroines immediately began to look completely different, it seems that the cute characters simply adapted to the unpleasant realities of the world around them, armed against the cruel reality.
Herr Nilsson was not too lazy to photograph his drawings in such a way that Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty peeked around the corner slyly, pointing the barrel of a pistol at an unsuspecting passer-by. Classic stories about a happy life immediately fade away, because in each photo the innocence and naivety of the princesses is surprisingly combined with toughness and uncompromising. The beautiful ladies seem to have gone mad, although, who knows, maybe they are simply tired of playing that corny role that society has entrusted to them. Herr Nilsson uncovers the hidden dark sides of these characters, breaking stereotypes. Of course, this street art not only adorns Swedish streets, but also makes you think that any medal always has two sides.
By the way, street drawings by artist Herr Nilsson are not the only example of how Disney heroines are deprived of the halo of purity, innocence and airy lightness. We have already told the readers of the site Culturology. Ru about the project "Fallen Princesses" by the Canadian Dina Goldstein, as well as about a series of photographs showing cartoons without happy ends from the Pole Thomas Czarnecki.

Why "dragons" and giant kangaroos that lived side by side with people became extinct in Australia
The already amazing nature of Australia tens of thousands of years ago was even more incredible. The continent was inhabited by giant kangaroos, twice the height of an ordinary person, and huge goannas, similar to dragons. But why did the megafauna disappear on this earth? Previously, it was believed that people were to blame. Now scientists are sure: it was climate change that led Australia's megafauna to extinction. The land that we now call Australia, 40-60 thousand years ago, was inhabited by giant creatures sa
