Most of the sculptures can be said in Tsvetaev's lines: "who is made of stone, who is made of clay …". And here are the works of a talented Italian artist Pietro D'Angelo created … from paper clips. It would seem that the pampering of pure water, however, having seen how the human body "grows" from the smallest stationery, it is difficult not to admire such a creative experiment.
Sculptures from stationery - the direction is young, but confidently conquering its place under the sun in the world of contemporary art. Pietro D'Angelo is one of the few authors who creates masterpieces from paper clips. Previously, he, like many others, used traditional materials - marble and clay, but he soon realized that office supplies could convey the beauty of the human body just as well.
Paper clips are good because they become the "second skin" of the depicted characters, give images lightness and airiness, balance on the verge of visible and invisible, turning rather into a virtual hologram, which can be simultaneously touched.
Sculptures by Pietro D'Angelo are recognizable, his individual style cannot be confused with anything. By connecting paper clips to each other, he creates a kind of chain mail that can accurately convey the posture or movement of a person. All works are dynamic: among the sculptures of the master you can see a girl on a swing or a guy with a guitar, who seems to be about to hit the strings. There are also spicy works (a pole dancer), and simple sketches from life (a girl holding a dog on a leash). To achieve this realism, Pietro D'Angelo put a lot of effort into mastering the skill of "weaving paper clips".
Unique works are presented at the Ermanno Tedeschi Gallery in Rome, where everyone can see them until the end of July 2013.
