On June 6, the General Staff of the Hermitage will host the opening of the exhibition, which was named Artificial Intelligence and the Dialogue of Cultures. The Russian Direct Investment Fund is participating in the organization of this event. It should be noted that the opening day of this exhibition coincides with the first day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Mikhail Piotrovsky, who is the director of the Hermitage, spoke a little about the upcoming exhibition. He drew attention to the fact that the latest technologies are excellent helpers for a person, sometimes it is already impossible to do without them. Such technologies cannot fully replace art, but they can develop their own directions in art, which will be interesting to the viewer in their own way. New directions may well become serious competitors for real artists.
In this interesting, unusual project, 14 creative teams and artists, who will represent 10 countries, decided to take part. This list includes Saudi Arabia, Russia, Germany, Italy, etc.
Contemporary art develops, and this is happening at a rapid pace. Significant changes are also taking place with artificial intelligence, it becomes more perfect, and also its works of art are changing. Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, spoke about this during his conversation with journalists. He drew particular attention to the fact that such works of art are poorly represented on the territory of the Russian Federation. The exhibition, which will soon open at the Hermitage, will become the largest event in the field of contemporary art and artificial intelligence throughout the country, as well as one of the largest in the world.
It is the Hermitage that will become the place where for the first time there will be a lot and serious talk about artificial intelligence and its significance in contemporary art. This event will be a kind of a turning point. It is especially interesting for the organizers of this exhibition to find out what the reaction of visitors will be, how they will assess the confrontation between artificial intelligence and ordinary contemporary art.
The exhibition "Artificial Intelligence and Dialogue of Cultures" will show that Russia is one of the advanced countries in which both high technologies and art are the most developed. Kirill Dmitriev called it a great honor to host this event within the walls of the State Hermitage, as well as the coincidence of this exhibition with such an important event as the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
