The effect the artist uses Julien salaud to create their own unusual installations, have long been familiar to party-goers that they cannot imagine themselves without a disco. One has only to appear on the dance floor in a white robe, and under the light of ultraviolet lights, the clothes will literally glow from the inside. The exhibition of this author, which opened in the Parisian gallery Palais de Tokyo, is therefore called "Star Cave" (Grotte Stellaire).
The artist depicted on the walls of this gallery something like cave paintings: the entire free surface of the Palais de Tokyo is occupied by angular running deer. A team of assistants, led by an anthropologist and the author of the project, applied the outlines of drawings to the ceiling and walls, armed only with white rope and nails. Line by line, layer by layer, the outlines of the installation became clearer and the picture became clearer. As a result, the Star Cave (Grotte Stellaire) could be admired with eyes raised to the ceiling, but when the ultraviolet lamps light up, it becomes clear why the installation has such a name.
When the drawings glow, they no longer resemble rock paintings, but turn into constellations in the dark night sky. A very romantic sight, and for sure most of the visitors to Palais de Tokyo are young people, fans of modern art, stars, constellations and walks under the moon. It will be possible to enjoy viewing this amazing installation until August 6 in the aforementioned Parisian art gallery.
